The Ham cachito, or simply cachito, is a bread roll typical of Venezuelan gastronomy.
It's part of the Venezuelan breakfast.
This is a very soft dough, made with wheat flour, eggs, fat, sugar, yeast and salt (very similar to Christmas ham bread), inside which is placed york ham cut into small pieces. It is then rolled and baked until golden brown.
It differs from croissant in the fact that it is made with puff pastry dough, in addition to being filled once baked as a sandwich.
